This database gives an overview of the authorisation of genetically engineered plants in the European Union. Special attention is given to the work of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

The database lists the food plants which are authorised in the EU or are assessed by EFSA and might soon be approved.

Each plant listed in the database is portrayed by its technical characteristics. Here one can also find the link to the opinion of EFSA and for many cases also a critical appraisal by Testbiotech.

Basic information is visualized in infographics.

One can search specifically for single admissions/events or filter the database by different details like trait, plant or company.
